.christmas.cheer.

i just finished making 5 gallons [~20 liters] of eggnog (non-alcoholic, of course) - my contribution to holiday cheer. eggnog is one of the few things i enjoy about christmas. it contributes greatly to the insulin roller coaster of christmas, but hey ... i just cannot (do not want to) resist when it comes to eggnog.

i love eggnog, but this amount is way beyond my digestive capacities, it is for the staff christmas party we will have tomorrow night.

you like?

Az eggnogban tényleg nyers tojás van?

részben, ugyanis a sárgája nem nyers, de a fehérje kemény habbá verve van benne, mint egy csomó más süteményben is (például krémes).

Hi,

My name is Jose Roberto Kavai.
I live in Brazil. My grandfather, Mathias Kavai came to Brazil in more or less 1910 from Hungary.
Maybe we were from the same family.

Best Regards,
Jose R. Kavai

well jose, we may be relatives. i heard a story once when i was a small child (more than 30 years ago) that we had family who went to brazil, but i don't remember the specifics and the relative who told me about it is not alive any more.

there aren't too many kavais around, i am sure you know that the name means from kavaa small town near the hungarian capital budapest.

there is one interesting thing i am sure you know about the kavai family. they were a noble family and they sent 500 horsemen to save the french aristocracy during the french revolution - with little success :)

Arpi, thanks for your information.
I have no information about our history family. It was great to know about these 500 horsemen. Do you know more details about our history.
I would like to send you my family photos.
If you answer my e-mail jrkavai@hotmail.com, I will share with my relatives.
