This post has been in the making for the last two days. Serious things were taken into consideration, stories were told again and again, gestures were reinterpreted, the internet was consulted for the most appropriate expressions.

In thinking of the post I had several ideas about what the title of it should be, so here are some of my initial thoughts:
  • ridiculous - to indicate the bizarreness of the situation
  • afraid - to show the horror of what happened
  • cry - to illustrate how emotional we all were
But before I could write the post our friend Mackenzie shared the story on her blog. Since she already did it, and because she is much better with words than me, you should read her account of the events in her longest post ever, here.

i will use ridiculous, afraid and cry in a sentence, to describe my emotions about you guys.

i feel a ridiculous amount of love for you three horvat-kavai's...so much so that i'm afraid it will just burst forth unexpectantly...possibly making whomever has to witness this explosive expression of love, cry, because of how crazy i look.

ohh if only they understood how much i love you guys. i hope you're having a wonderful time at home. (not as good as the time we had this week, of course. but is that even possible to match?)

Hi Dezi, I hope you were able to rendez vous with Trudy in Debrecen.

I just wanted to thank you for accepting us as friends (not like you had a real choice anyway) and sharing your thought and talent with us. We love you and I am sure we will meet somehow, sometime, somewhere ...
