Texas

It is often said that everything is bigger in Texas. I certainly think that the hoopla the media is turning this rain and snow into is bigger than anything I have ever seen in my life. I am not saying that it is not dangerous, I know that lot of people have already died because of the weather, but it is also true that the road conditions today were more than satisfying. However our friends made us stay at the Hilton near the Austin airport anyway, so if the roads are absolutely horrible in the morning we can even walk to the airport to catch Delta 1680 flight to Atlanta (then Delta 192 to New York, and Delta 98 to Budapest). We should be in Pécs in about 24 hours after we get up tomorrow morning.

We went to see a couple of sites here in Austin today. There was certainly something that was bigger than anything else we have seen in America so far, it is our friend's Dodge RAM2500. Andi needed a push to be able to step (up) into the car.
