We are at the Calvary Chapel Conference Center in Murrieta Hot Springs (California) right now. The annual Calvary Chapel Mission Conference is a great blessing to both of us. We are enjoying our time here very much. The studies are encouraging, challenging, and very helpful.

It is great to meet fellow missionaries, pastors, other servants of God. Some of the stories are incredible, like the one of Saeed. He is a pastor of underground churches in Iran, he was trained by Hezbollah when he was 14 to invade Israel, and he wanted to kill the preacher who talked to him about Jesus. Also incredible is the story of Heather Mercer, a missionary rescued from a Taliban prison in Afghanisthan.

Of course, the weather is not bad either. It is warm, sunny, and very pleasant.
